Join Our Team

The Warwick Community Ambulance Service responded to more than 1,600 calls for help in 2023. Those calls included serious medical emergencies, traffic accidents, injuries at home, work, school, and at the many recreation facilities in our towns.

We Need You

With the growth of our towns and the tremendous increase in call requests, we need new members to join our team. No prior experience is required and we provide all the necessary training and equipment.

 

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER

You must be at least 18 years old and complete one of the following certifications within 3 months of joining:

  • American Red Cross Standard First Aid

  • American Red Cross Community First Aid

  • New York State EMT

Successful applicants will be given additional training in CPR and ambulance operations. Further education to CFR or EMT is encouraged but not required.

Junior Corps

This program is for young people that range in age from 14 to 17 years old and reside within the Warwick Ambulance District #1 or the Florida Fire District.
